Now you have installed and activated the plugin, straight away you are ready to go.
Step by Step Instructions
A new tab on the left side of your WordPress admin console will appear called LinkGather:
Hover over this menu option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different sections available for you:
If you click on the Home option, this will navigate to the plugins home page which has instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.
Post Links
Push the Post Links option to navigate you to the page that will show all of your WordPress sites published posts’ URL's. Be aware that for the purposes of this guide, we are using our WordPress test site with just a few links in it.
You will now see a list with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. However how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.
At the bottom of the URL's table, you will see that LinkGather has also calculated how many post links you have.
You then also have the option to download the articles in Excel style.
Page Links
The instructions above is exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of bringing back published articles, it will bring back published pages instead:
JetPack URLs
The option for JetPack URL's is again exactly the same procedure as those above, but, JetPack ShortLinks are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to get those URL.
If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic read more post links instead.
Assuming that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links menu will bring back all those JetPack URL's that it has gathered:
